Defined by a devotion to elegance, femininity and sensuality, MILLESIA delivers timelessly chic designs of exceptional quality. Founded in 1994, this French luxury lingerie brand conquered the market by blending exquisite style with technical innovation.
From the finest high-end materials to historic corset-making techniques, MILLESIA's attention to detail and true creativity sets them apart from the masses-along with an endless array of styles that complement, flatter and enhance the female form.
MILLESIA's philosophy is one that embodies the French culture, quality materials and design structure. It is these three key components that allow the luxury brand to craft charming, romantic and high-end creations.
French Textile Culture
Since the 16th century, the textile industry has flourished in Lyon, France. It is here that the silk manufacturers created the techniques and technologies we still use today-silk knitting, jacquard, and corsetry are just a few iconic examples.
With the production of these luxurious, feminine fabrics, Lyon eventually became known for lingerie design and manufacturing. Thus, MILLESIA is based in the lingerie capital of France and crafted by French designers who are educated at the best fashion schools. MILLESIA products are therefore very French in spirit-harboring a charming aesthetic that is well recognized around the world.
A brief history of lace
In 1804 near Nottingham, England, a young mechanic named John Heathcoat patented the first tulle-manufacturing machine. At around the same time, French mechanic Joseph-Marie Jacquard invented a loom that produced beautifully designed cloth: the Jacquard fabric.
Eventually, these two technologies merged, and the Leavers loom was born: a large machine, from which even today, the finest and most delicate lace emerges.
MILLESIA prides itself on the use of these timeless fabrics, which convey a rich history and dedication to detail in today's designs.
MILLESIA invented the push up three-stitch cup. This basic cup construction ensures a comfortable fit while creating the natural, round look sought by both distributors and customers.
This cup construction is technically difficult-as it requires the design fabrics be consistent with the construction and has been perfected by MILLESIA designers through endless hours of experience. The end product is considered in the company to be three-dimensional architecture with the goal of fitting the body in the best possible way.
Again, particular attention to detail is called for in the structure of MILLESIA products. Rich fabrics cover the straps and the sides of the body and motifs are carefully selected. On average, a MILLESIA bra has up to 30 different components, making it the most technical garment in a woman's wardrobe.
The Push-Up Bra
With its contoured foam cups and removable pads, the push-up bra is ideal for smaller cup sizes and low neckline tops. This minimal coverage silhouette creates a push-up effect for seductive décolletage.
The Balcony Bra
Also known as a shelf bra, this style lifts to enhance appearance, shape and cleavage. A more revealing version of the demi-bra, this style offers minimal coverage.
The Basque, The Guepiere
Similar to a corset or bustier style, the basque extends down the hips for a sexy, flattering silhouette. It is comprised of three parts - the bra (push-up or balcony), the waspie (or waist cincher) and the garters combine to flaunt and flatter the figure.
This four-strap design creates support for your finest stockings. The garter is similar to a belt, sitting at the waist or hips with hanging straps that attach to thigh-highs.
The Shorty (Boyshort)
This flirty style of underwear extends all the way down the hips and back for a full coverage fit.
The Sexy Bra
With its half foam cup and laterally placed underwire, this scintillating style reveals the cleavage for an ultra-sexy look.
The Classic Bra
The ideal everyday bra, this style suits a range of cup sizes from small to large. With its superb fit and perfect shape, the Classic offers full coverage and ample comfort.
With a waist-cinching basque, the bustier is halfway between a bra and a corset.
Available in a push-up bustier, balcony bustier and sexy bustier.
A timeless fit, our brief comes in three styles. The traditional brief offers a classic fit. The seamless brief offers a comfortable "invisible" look with no panty lines. The high-rise style shapes and refines the stomach area while offering comfort and support.
The G-string is our most seductive style, featuring a completely uncovered back for an invisible panty line.
The Strapless Bra
With its contoured shape and non-slip silicone strip, this bra provides the perfect fit beneath strapless garments. Removable straps are included for convertible wear: standard, crisscross, halter, asymmetric and strapless.
The Night Dress
The nightdress usually hits the middle-thigh and range from sheer to lace and full coverage materials.
